Yes. It's yet another music reference. In case you didn't notice: I do that. But here, there's a more literal meaning. That's right. You all now have to pay for that jukebox on the sidebar. Anti-up, all. Kidding. Probably. ;p Anywho! The real point! I was thinking it would be interesting to switch up the music in the jukebox (aka "flashplayer") every month or so. So, every month, we'll take out one or two songs and replace them. To decide on the changes, we'll call for a vote. Question the First:Which song(s) should we take out? Question the Next:What should be the replacement? Choices for the Month of November: (click to hear song)(note, we're listening to the music here, not the vid I attached!)a) Bad Company by Bad Companyb) Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater (you know which ep that comes from. You know you do. Major Season 1 finale spoiler) c) Hocus Pocus by Focusd) dead or alive by bon jovi (who "Rocks. Sometimes." -Dean) e) other. Preferably keep it something that would appear on the show (ie: classic rock and/or something Sam and Dean would listen to)(and yes, all the ones I've got up there are, in fact, from the show at some point. Even c. ;p) f) leave the ones we've got for another month! I like them! I vote for "Dead or Alive". It was a toss-up between that and Bad Moon Rising (which shall always have a creepy connotation to it now).

Great idea, Kase. ::Slides over two dimes:: As far as the songs we should get rid of, of course Wayward Son HAS to stay. And while we all know how much I love Asia (can't get enough of that song, you know ) I feel like that could be more of a seasonal song that pops in and out. For new songs, my vote is definitely for Bad Moon on the Rise. That song STILL gives me chills when I hear it, ever since that finale. Also, I toss into the hat "House of the Rising Sun," which is another creeper from the episode "Road Kill" (that song that kept popping up on the radio before the killer ghost showed up to make them crash. (sorry for the lack of a musical link. I'm on a public computer right now that lacks sound.)

Yeah, wayward son's gotta stay.
1)I think Metallica's Enter the Sandman should go. Though I'm a fan of the song, we could up the variety.
2)Hm... new stuff...Hocus pocus is a little too weird for me. I'm gonna go with the Bad Moon song as well. After that, I can't decide, so I'll just stick with one vote for now.

Oh, nice. I do think it would be fun to rotate the songs every once in a while. To expand on Sam's idea, (nice one, btw. I wouldn't have thought of that) the version of "The House of the Rising Sun" played in that episode is by the Animals, here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRV9QCXLtHQLol - that "focus" by Hocus Pocus is an... interesting choice. When was that song played? Anyway, I think I'm with you two - Bad Moon is creepy and awesome, and though Dead or Alive isn't really my favorite Bon Jovi song, the memory of the bros singing it together at the end of last season definitely makes me love it. Modification: I just realized, we HAVE to put up "Eye of the Tiger," at least for a week or so. At least, in my opinion. If you haven't seen the most recent ep yet, you won't get that.

Eve: Dude, that's totally creepy... I was just about to edit mine to say "eye of the tiger" too. ...
:: Looks around, suddenly on edge...::
Eve: you're not watching me are you?
Yeah, so... Eye of the Tiger is my second music pick! Lol, man that was weird!

Hmm. Tough decision! Question the 1st) I think Heat of the moment should go. For now anyway. (I heard that on the radio the other day and it made me think of that episode.) Question the next) Lets see... I like the idea of Eye of the Tiger up as a special for a bit! Annnnnd think I'll also vote for House of the rising sun. :: Reaches into her pocket, but has no dimes:: Um, Put it on my tab.

:: Slides Sam's offered payment off the table and into his pocket.::
Self: Sweet! ;p
all: Eye of the Tiger has been added as a special. Very good idea!
I'm going to wait another week for remaining members to get online to vote and then we'll tally up the votes.

aww, you guys were waiting on me (and several other people). How sweet. I'm personally liking this bizarre organ music that's stalking me (though it does get kind of annoying that it starts over again every time you refresh a page.) Yeah, I'm not gonna be much help with a deciding factor. I really like Bad Moon and House of the Rising Sun. I also like that they're pretty episode specific, so only fans would really get the references, but they're still a little creepy even if you aren't. I would also like to add, slightly off topic, that if you're looking for a really creepy song, listen to "I'm Walking Behind You" by Frank Sinatra. That dude is kind of a stalker freak... heh, kidding. ...sort of.

Sorry about the delay, everyone. Computer issues and other RL distractions have kept me from my promised updates to the player.
According to my calculations, the winners of a spiffy new spot on our player are Bad Moon Rising with a tie between Dead or Alive and Heat of the Moment for a second spot ... I placed them both.
Enter the Sandman and Heat of the Moment have been removed since they were the only ones voted to be taken away.
Enjoy!
We'll keep 'em up for a month, give or take, and go for another vote!

Are we going to do another music change thing? It's been a good long two-month month now. I've even brought a dime!

^_^ Sure!
Just so everyone knows, whenever you have a new song in mind you'd like up, come on in (with a dime) and post a suggestion. Then Kasen ('cause he's officially the one in charge of the song choices) will either put the replacement to question like he did last time, or if there seems to be a general consensus on a song that sounds good, he'll just put it in after a month(ish) has passed.

Sweet! Then I've got a suggestion! I'm not sure it's actually been on the show, but it seems like something they'd put on there. And it's been stuck in my head ever since I played it on Guitar Hero a few weeks back. It's called Cherry Pie by Warrant. click here for the song

Heh, I like that song choice Dean. We'll put it in the running.
Anyone else have a preference to add and/or take away from our current playlist?

Dean - heh, at first when I heard this I thought it was saying "Eat my cherry pie, eat my cherry pie!" I was like, ok... if you insist. But yeah, I can definitely see that on the show using this... and scene's just Dean eating pie. If only one's going up, though, I think I'd vote for Tash's. If only 'cause this one HAS been on the show (...right?) I'd vote to take away Dead or Alive. Never been overly fond of that song.

Ok, looks like these are our choices!
Both are now up (what the hey, right?) and the two mentioned take-aways are... away.

DEAN, you are prophetic. Did you guys catch that "Warrant's Cherry Pie" reference to it in the episode?? ^_^

Chase: Lol, I totally didn't think about it that way. I guess I'm more Dean than I thought. :: grins::
Eve: Really? No, I don't think I caught that! I'll have to go look for that now! K: Thanks!
all: Is the song "One" working for anyone or is it just me that it doesn't like??

It wasn't working for me either, Dean. I have switched the link. Hopefully it'll be in working order now.
