Gwen parked her motorcycle on the curb of the street and stepped onto the damp sidewalk. Her high-heeled, knee-high, black boots clicked on the sidewalk as she slipped her keys in her pocket. She wore dark brown pants that reached just below her knees and fit snuggly to her legs. Her tank-top was black and showed her stomach slightly. A trashy, white skull grinned at anyone who happened to glance at her shirt. She wore a brown braclet that had a Devil's Trap scribed on it.
She sighed angrily and took a seat on the sidewalk against the wall of a bar. She dug out a Twizzler from her back pocket and stuck it in her mouth. She bit a chunk out of it and chewed furiously. She was really in the mood to kill something, but all of her research had come up blank. Nothing to kill. Nothing to do. She looked up at the stars and took another bite out of her Twizzler.

Katsuro was not in a good mood. He had hit another dead end in his attempts to find out more on possible whereabouts of the Cult of Amazarak. True, he still wasn't sure if he even wanted to actually ask for their aid in his quest to rid himself of the need to feed on living creatures, but he didn't know where else to look. It seemed demons would have the greatest chance of knowing the wherabouts of the mythical Bloodvine-or better-to have the ability to quench his thirst forever without it.
He had entered the bar in an attempt to gain information about the movements of a suspected Cult member, but it seemed as though he had moved on from the area, leaving little information to gather. Letting out a hiss he walked around back into the alley to retrieve his motorcycle.
'Maybe I need to go settle my nerves a bit. I've been getting nowhere with this search.... and it has been a while since I've had the opportunity to ride Rayner...'
He stopped suddenly as his darkness-acute eyes found the shape of a young woman leaning against the wall of the alley, chewing ferociously on a long strip of candy. She did not look happy.
Well, misery loves company, right? Continuing to stride to his motorcycle on the wall opposite to where the woman rested, he glanced back at her, stating the one thing he knew for certain:
"You don't look happy." Smooth, right? "What would bother such a beautiful young woman so much as to place her in a dark alley late at night on a candy binge?"
He turned around and looked her in the eyes, leaning casually against his bloodred motorcycle, letting a small smile creep out across his lips.

"My...job isn't working out too well," she said, still chewing furiously on the Twizzler. She looked up at him with a dark, angry glare. She saw a smile appear on his lips. "What're you doing talking to an angry girl in a dark alley?" She smiled maliciously at him. "You never know what an angry girl is capable of." She noticed that there was something strange about him and she raised an eyebrow. To anyone it would probably look like a flirtatious gesture, but to Gwen it was a hint at suspiscion.
She looked at the motorcycle he was leaning on. "Nice ride," she said.
((Sorry for the late post! Unexpected trip!))

"My...job isn't working out too well," Ah, the lament of too many mortals these days. Katsuro almost told the girl to go find a better job and move on with her life. Almost.
"You never know what an angry girl is capable of." Katsu raised an eyebrow in amusement. This girl obviously believed she could take care of herself, or at least could make a good bluff.
"Nice ride," "Heh, thanks." Katsu nodded over to the young woman's motorcycle. "Looks like you aren't one for cars either. What model is she?"
Then he motioned at the candy in her hands, "Feel like sharing?"
Why was he tempting fate? Why was he even talking to this moody adolescent? Maybe it was his vampire instincts urging him to close in on easy prey; maybe he just wanted to blow off some steam at his latest dead end. Katsu gave up trying to figure out why; it wasn't getting him anywhere.
