Basics:
Name: Molly Rourke
Nicknames: N/A
Age: 32
Birthday: March 15
Gender: Female
Original/Cannon: Original
Category: Hunter
Power: N/A
The Look:
Physical Stats: Stands at 5’8’’ with a slim, athletic build. Visibly powerful, with a face that can promise death at one moment and welcome you home with milk and cookies the next. Her dark chocolate hair falls to her shoulders, waving slightly, and her heavy lidded eyes are a cloudy grey. She has a tattoo on her left hip, an intricate, intertwining G, J, and D. She didn’t want it anywhere that could easily be viewed, and if people notice and ask about it she’ll clam up right away.
Celebrity: Lena Headey
Personality: Everything is two sided in Molly’s mind – right or wrong, black or white, with never so much as a gleam of grey. In her mind supernatural equals evil, and nothing anyone says is going to make her see that any differently. Viewing the world in such sharp contrasts leaves Molly’s personality equally divided. If she trusts you she will be loving, caring, and above all things loyal. If not she’ll shoot you the second you give her a reason, and never look back unless it’s to shoot a second time. Making her mad is a very unwise decision; she’ll hunt you to the ends of the earth and back in search of payback.
History:
Molly Hader grew up on a ranch in a small town called Cedar Hills, Nebraska. She lived a simple, relatively easy life along with her father until she was eighteen years old, when she was swept off her feet by a stranger who had just arrived. The stranger was a twenty-six year old man named Gavin Rourke, and he was a Hunter. He came to town on the trail of an Acheri – a demon disguised as a child that inhabited the woods outside of town, and murdered anyone who, deceived by her young and helpless guise, entered the woods to try and help her. When Molly’s father became a victim to the Acheri she decided to hunt it down, and only survived because Gavin saved her. After killing the Acheri he decided to stay in town with Molly, and within a year the two married. Gavin went out on nearby hunts now and again, and, though Molly learned a lot about the lifestyle and how to defend herself, she stayed home to take care of the ranch and, eventually, their two children.
When her sons, James and Daniel, were four and two respectively, the mate of a werewolf that Gavin had killed followed him home, and slaughtered him and both young children. Molly managed to make it to the trunk where Gavin kept his hunting weapons and shot it in the heart before it could reach her.
Molly’s entire life changed in that instant. She left her home and spent four years out on the road, hunting whatever she could find. In time, though, she came to realize that if she didn’t find something besides vengeance to live for she would lose her mind. She returned to Cedar Hills, where she was welcomed back by a community that thought her family had been killed by wild animals from the forest, and that she had spent that last four years out “finding herself.”
She started making a living by teaching horseback riding, hunting only the rare creature that came close enough to threaten her town and the surrounding area. After two years of this relatively peaceful life, she met a runaway teenager named Eve Vardell who claimed to be on the trail of a werewolf, and welcomed her into her home. For several weeks, as the two lived together, Molly began to see herself as the girl’s mentor, until she discovered the truth about her. Eve hadn’t been hunting a werewolf – she was one. During their first full moon together Eve changed and tore apart Molly’s horses. Molly injured the wolf but it escaped, leaving her with the realization that she couldn’t simply hide out on the ranch and hope that evil didn’t come her way again. She had to fight it.
So she left her home a second time and now lives mostly on the road, hunting whatever she can find but always keeping a vengeful eye out for the wolf girl who had reminded her that the world will never be a safe place, and even the guise of youthful innocence cannot be trusted.

Sample Post:
She woke to the whinnying screams of her horses. The cries curdled her blood, and in an instant she was on her feet and racing down the hall, body already taking on the tendencies of a trade long not tested, moving with quick, silent steps, eyes darting in the darkness and every sense on high alert.
Something dark had made its way to the ranch, and on a full moon night it would be a big coincidence if it weren’t a wolf. Molly didn’t believe in coincidences.
She made it to her guest room, what had all those years ago been a nursery, and slid open the door.
“Hey, kid, wake up. We’ve got trouble.”
But Eve wasn’t there. Had she already heard the wolf and, in foolish desire to avenge her father, rushed off to meet it without backup?
“Damn it, kid…”
She was down the hall and in the living room in an instant, pulling free the small key that always had a place on a chain around her neck, beside her wedding ring. In the corner of the room an old leather trunk sat, gathering dust, and this was what she immediately went to, sliding the key in and pulling the lid open to reveal a chest filled to the brim with weapons – ancient, modern, and many most definitely illegal. She pulled out a silver dagger and a .45 she knew to still have five silver bullets, and made her way to the barn, where the screams of her horses continued to shatter the calm of the otherwise quiet night. She didn’t hear any human screams, however, and that gave her hope that the girl had some sense after all.
She raised her .45 to her chest and crept around the side of the barn, heart beginning to race with primal desire for payback. It was supernatural, so it already deserved death, but it had killed her horses, all she had left, which meant that she would definitely enjoy the killing.
She reached the barn door and, with a quick breath and an internal nod, she spun to face the creature within. And then everything changed. Because inside the barn crouched the girl, Eve, bloodied teeth bared and long, pale fingers tearing into the chest of the dark stallion she had been helping groom only hours before. Its freshly combed coat glistened with blood.
For just an instant Molly felt shocked, confused, even edging on hurt. Then her nerves steadied. Her heart hardened. She aimed her gun.
