Weekend at Bobby's was a genius episode. I loved that we got a chance to see Bobby's day-to-day life, and how much he does for all these other hunters that we don't even really think about. Wrapping up the Crowley/soul story was good too, though I am kind of upset that Dean knew that the deal was still in effect all year but instead of helping, was living his happy apple-pie life instead. (I'm upset that Sam hadn't been helping either, but we already know something's seriously-the-heck wrong with Sam.) I mean, he helps them constantly and they've just been ignoring the fact that he'd be going to hell in under 10 years.
Glad Bobby chewed them out for that one.
Twi-hard... hilariously bad at the beginning. Not sure if any of you are Twilight fans but I just don't get the interest. At all. So I was definitely ROFLing my way through that intro.
Sam's freaking grin when Dean got transformed... WTF man?!? I'm really glad the promo for next week said we'd be getting an explanation 'cause... No. That's not ok. I really need explanations for that, now.
That psychic vision scene was creepy and awesome, though again I'm not sure how I feel about this whole "alpha" idea. I hope the series doesn't end with them having defeated all the monster alphas and now supernatural things just don't exist anymore. That'd be sad, somehow.

Weekend @ Bobby's: Yeah, I was a bit disappointed in the brothers about that too. Bobby's always there for him. I bet he was quiet about it and after the bare miss of the apocalypse (and loss of his brother for Dean), they probably didn't really remember about it. Yeah and Sam's all crazy emotionless Hunterman now so he probably didn't even care.
But then the pair of them got on a plane and went to Scottland for him! Yay! When you are terrified of flying and agree to go on a ten hour flight (Dean) or are nigh on emotionless because Lucifer took your body for a test drive with you inside (Sam) but still get on a plane and cross the Atlantic, you know you've got some good friends/family.
That was my favorite episode this season so far!
Last Friday's ep (twihard) was pretty good.
I'm not a Twilight fan, but I was forced to see the first one with a friend of mine. Heh, anyway, that and commercials is why I got the beginning bit was a Twilight parody. The funny thing is that these parody guys acted the scene better than the real version.
I still don't know if I like this Alpha thing either. I did however like Dean getting turned into a vamp. That was fun! I think it was almost too easy to turn him back though. Or maybe it's just that I'm still iffy with this all knowing grandpappy of theirs. I mean, I thought it was an interesting twist that their mom's side of the family was composed of hunters, but I don't like that they seem to be superawesome hunters. Maybe even the superawesomest since no one else ever seemed to have a cure for vampirism. Who knows what other crazy tricks they'll have up their sleeves!
I kinda liked it better when John was the hunter in the family history. I mean, he taught himself to be a hunter and on top of that, other hunters thought high enough of him to say he was good if not great! And know the grandad comes around and says he knows stuff that John 'never would have dreamed of' and keeps emphasizing how if Sam or Dean do some hunting thing well it's 'cause they've got some 'Campbell' in them... Hmph. Campbells didn't teach them anything.
Hm. That wasn't supposed to take up two paragraphs... I guess I've got some issues with the degrading of their Winchester...ness... and John in general. I feel like they've been hitting him hard for a couple seasons now.
But, em..., that aside, I liked that episode.
And freakin' Sam had to freakin' smirk and let him get changed?!?! What???!! I rather liked how at the end of it all, Dean remembered that. Buahaha, now we shall get answers!!! ...Right??
Sam: yeah, that vision thing was weird! I wonder if we're going to get some further insight into what he saw there.
