Yay! Well this is my favorite episode so far. Cas just makes things better.
So, it was an interesting episode. I liked the story of the stolen plagues and weapons of heaven.
I'm not as pleased with the other angels. It's come up before, but it seems to me like some angels are just too... good at acting human. Like, they've got our sayings and mannerisms down pat. But... why? That's what was so cool about Castiel. He didn't 'get it' and he wasn't supposed to 'get it' because he's a completely different species that doesn't spend a lot of time with humans. I dunno, it's not all of them. And Anna for example had good reason to get us little hairless apes, but just how human Balthazar was annoyed me a bit.
I liked all the fight bits. Especially those with the... em... what do you call those angel-killing-metal-stakes? Anyway those were cool. ^_^
Dean was spot on and Sammy is scary! It was creepy how dead he was to the torture of the child. I'm totally cool with it as long as it is acknowledged that this is 'wrong' behavior for him (which it has been) and it is given more explanation (which we've yet to see).
That coming soon preview got me excited, though. Heheheh, any chance to poke fun at Twilight is a plus. And that bit where Dean gets that curse/ability to get the truth? I hope it works and we get some worthwhile answers out of Sam!
...And I REALLLLLLLLY hope Bobby doesn't go through the wood chipper 'cause, man, that's totally what it looked like! O.O
