So I lied (in the Roadhouse) about being done with my randomosity for the day. Here's another bit, which I think will help bring together Supernatural and the holiday spirit. I just saw an article in some magazine that was talking about historical Santa... and his evil demon companion, Krampus. The demon acted as sort of a servant to Santa. Yes, I kid you not, jolly Saint Nick worked with an honest-to-goodness demon in the olden days, especially in Austria. It went something like this: while kindly Saint Nick gave the good kiddies nice presents, Krampus (whose name means "claws" in old German. "Claws," "Claus"... interesting similarity, no?) would roam the land to warn and punish the bad children. I'm pretty sure the article said something about stealing away the really bad ones in a sack on Christmas Eve. Kinda like the Pagan god Christmas ep Supernatural had. Also note (this wasn't in the article, I just came up with it myself) that the letters in "Santa" can be rearranged to spell "Satan." And that's all for now, folks! Enjoy your Christmases... and if you haven't been nice maybe you should think about barring off your chimneys...

Lol, I've said it before, but I'll say it again: You are one random character. You know, I swear I've heard something like that before. I don't know if it was this Krampus thing or another myth, but I know there was some baddie that went around with Santa and punished all the bad kids. That's pretty cool info. I must go and inform my insubordinate little cousin. Bwuahahahaha! Lol, oh, now you've ruined Santa for me! Santa. Satan. That is interesting. I wonder what that "really" means... Hmmmmm.

Dude, you've just completely destroyed my image of the jolly man forever.
Santa = Satan? With a demon pet? That's so bizarre!! I mean, I guess it sort of fits. Parents tell their kids all kinds of things to get them to behave, and "if you hit your brother Krampus will come and carry you away in a sack" sort of fits with that. But really... now the whole "he sees you when you're sleeping" thing has taken on a whole new sinister tone.
...Actually, that line has always struck me as kind of sinister...

...oh dear...
But at the same time, that gives Satan a slightly better name, no? Because if Santa is indeed Satan, or somehow connected, then it shows he can be a nice guy sometimes! He rewards the good kids and has the bad ones taken away!
And we all thought he was so mean all the time! ^_-

Wow, never heard about this in school, did we? hehheh, I guess they didn't want to scare the 'ickle kiddies. hehheh You know, I was just watching that old clay-mation movie about Santa and his origins and whatnot, and near the end, Santa says his line about "Tell the kids they'd better not to shout... cry..." etc. etc, the whole time, I was thinking how malicious he sounded when he was saying it! Made me a little frightened! I might have to block up my chimney! Though, after that I watched the new Pixar short film "Prep and Landing," and that was really cute, so I think it saved my idea of Santa. hehheh
