Dean: Glad to hear it!
Man, it's gotten slow in here lately. Though I must say, the plot related threads have picked up. Cheers to that, guys!

eah, we're all out saving the world (or in some cases destroying it...) and don't have much time to stop in here and chat. (I did very much enjoy the Thanksgiving spread though, Tash. Just... quietly. ) I did notice the pick up on story threads - it's very cool to see the stories moving forward at a good pace.

Oh my gosh! It's been so long since I've been here! Sorry everybody! I've just been sitting in a Supernatural depression-like stupor. I can't believe they are doing a break for so long. And it's not just them either. It's almost every tv show! Don't they know that just gets us out of the mood for their 'product'? Humph!! Oh well. As Sam mentioned in the Cbox, at least we have the site. So how is everybody? Katsu, Kasen, Dean, Sam: Glad you enjoyed the dinner. Edited!Kasen and Eve: You two have a thread called Mean mr. mustard? That's so weird! Where did that come from?

Hi all! Well, I'm exhausted. Why, you ask? Studying for finals, was I? Hahahem... no. I've been up to something far more important. I have been putting together the finishing touches of my brand-new, super-spiffy general site video! I've been at it for a while, and I had no idea how much more effort it took to make a video focusing on eleven people rather than just one. Kudos to Kasen for having made our first general promo, it's exhausting! Anyway, I'll have it up in a few days - I guess I'll steal an idea from Sam and make it a holiday present. Tash: lol, saw that, did you? Kasen and I have always tried to use song titles for our collaborative threads (except for the first one, which was just "Wheton's Shield"). So we were looking through our respective playlists and Kasen came across that one. It's a Beatles song, I think. Anyway, we started out jokingly saying we should use it, and then decided why not do it for real. They're stopping at a gas station to plan their next move and Mr. Mustard's going to be the attendant. We were kind of thinking it would be funny if he just randomly passes by from time to time in different people's threads across the site for no particular reason: this grumpy old man with a mustard stain on his shirt. So everyone, feel free to use him if you want. ^_^

Tasha: What Eve said. We're just weirdos like that. :: Stands up on a stool and coughs loudly to get the patrons' attention:: All: I just wanted to say, thanks to every member on this site. You guys have had a lot of patience I think. Most other RPs move a long a lot faster than we do, but despite our snail-like pace, our storyline continues. What brought on this sudden bout of kudos to the members, you ask? No. Surprisingly enough, it's not that I'm getting into the holiday spirit. I was just recently informed that another Supernatural RPG site, that I thought was pretty popular has officially been closed. "At a Crossroads", a site born from another site that actually helped create a few characters who now dwell here has closed it's doors. I was never a part of that site and didn't really know many of the people from that site well at all, but I've got to say I was still surprised to hear that it closed. And that led to my desire to say: Thanks to you all for still coming around. Cheers, guys! Tash: Let's get a round of drinks for everyone. On me.

Whoa, guys... At a Crossroads died? But it was huge. It had like 300 members or something... I wasn't part of Blooded Warfare long enough to really get to know many of the members, but it seemed like the majority of them transferred over to At a Crossroads... I'm really surprised. Though I was really surprised when BW shut down too, so... That's cool, though, that we've outlasted. I always thought it was a strength of our site that we were pretty small. I mean, we all know each other, we're friends rather than just fellow RPers (the Chase in me wants to gag right now, by the way ) and that probably helps keep us together more than a massive site like AaC would. We keep in touch on story points, hassle each other to post when it's gone too long without replies, etc. Basically, we rock. Um... should we be lighting a little vigil candle for our fallen brother site or something?

Eve: I just went out and listened to that Beatles song. It's weird! Lol, but it's funny and cool that you guys do that. That's an interesting idea about trying to get this random guy to pop up every once in a while. I'm not sure how it'll work, but that'd be kind of neat. :: Listens to the speech from the admin:: Kasen: Oh yeah, I forgot about that other site. Chase: It was that big? Wow! Kase and Chase: I like being a little site. It's sometimes hard because if you're doing just one thread and the other person you're doing it with goes away for a week or something, then you're stuck doing nothing! But on the other hand it's a lot easier to keep track of everything and you get to read everybody else's stories and keep up with things. :: Hands out drinks for everybody, a fruit drink that she has only just concocted.:: All: Time to try something a little different.

::Accepts the drink and flicks his lighter open, swaying back and forth a few times in a brief vigil.:: Oh! Now I want a screwdriver. I've never had one in RL, but I suddenly have Fawlty Towers in my head (if you haven't seen it, go find it. It's this awesome British comedy John Cleese created and starred in) and there was this skit with people asking for a screwdriver, which is just vodka and orange juice, and him like going out to the shed to find them a real screwdriver and... it was awesome. ...So that's my moment of complete randomosity for the day. Sorry... just got back from work and I'm in a generally spaced-out state. Or maybe it's your drink, Tash. ::Takes an appraising drink and nods:: Not bad... what is it?

:: Gives the man on the stool a pat and an exagerated sniff.::
Kasen: That was beauuutiful, dude. (J/k!) It's nice to be here. I'm really glad I found this place. It's awesome to be able to play one of the main characters of the show, but I've got a feeling I wouldn't be allowed to do it elsewhere. I'm not online every day and I'm not on here every time I am on, which makes my responses a bit slow. That wouldn't work on a busy site. Dean and Sam need to be everywhere, with lots of threads! So, um, yeah. Yay, to you all, I guess.
:: Drinks from his new mug of something or other and chuckles at Chase and his lighter::
Chase: You are a random random person. Fawlty Towers and screwdrivers, lol.

HEELLOOOO ALLLL!!!!!!! It's good to be back! Sorry I've been absent for so long!!! Took my finals, all went pretty well, and I'm back home for the holidays! ^_^ Looking forward to getting a christmas tree later today!!!! ^_^
So what's new with everyone? ;P
Eve/Kase: Woah, we survived where At A Crossroads fell? Boo yah for us! ^_- ::lights a candle for AAC:: I was never part of Blooded Warfare or anything, but it was huuuge... ;p
Tash: Hmm, what is this interesting concoction? ;P

Dean trudges into the Roadhouse covered in snow. He brushes as much off as possible before heading to the bar with a grin.
"Guys. We've got snow! Well I do anyway. ;p A lot of the US does, I suppose. I've been having a lot of fun out there. Dug through mountains of snow, made a few snow angels -yes. I do snow angels. Got a problem?? Did a good deed and helped shovel out a sidewalk. Good day."
Sits down heavily.
Tash: Can I get a cup of cocoa?

Wow, I've been gone for way too long. Sorry! Work has been hectic beyond compare.... but on the bright side....
Christmas Eve in an hour!!! YES!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!
Dean: Were you hit by that blizzard in NY? We didn't get too much snow yet up here, but I'm holding out for a white Christmas!

Ev: It was a blizzard all the way up the east coast, I think. Like, if you have ever even thought about driving out to the Atlantic Ocean on a whim, you were probably buried up to your ears last weekend. Anyways, I'm probably gonna be pretty busy tonight and tomorrow, so I thought I'd pop on now and wish everyone a Merry Christmas! (And if you don't celebrate that then... well, deal with my goodwill anyway. You can still be merry without the presents if you try. ) Well, that's all for now. Don't let Krampus steal you in the night!

Evan: Yup, we were buried. It was ridiculous! But I was rather happy with it overall. and the fact that it made a white Christmas doesn't hurt either. Sammy: Merry Christmas, little bro! all: And Merry X-mas to you all too, I suppose. ;p :: pulls out a smallish bag of goodies for everyone and hands out an assortment of gifts (all which turn out to be ammunition of one kind or another. Real bullets and salt shells, throwing stars (for Katsu (;p)), and a brand new sawed off shotgun Sam.:: There. If that doesn't put me on Santa's good side, I don't know what will.

Merry Christmas everyone! :: gets Dean his belated hot cocoa and accepts his gift of... ammo? :: Dean: Gee. Thanks, Dean. :: Then hands out a round of hot cocoa for everyone:: I had a pretty good holiday. My family and I opened presents, went out to see relatives (traffic was terrible!), and had a tasty dinner. How was everybody else's day?

::Laughs and thanks her ammo::
Um, hopefully I won't need to use this... ever? But thanks, Dean!
My Christmas was lovely! I got some great presents including some nice new boots to help me tackle the crazy amount of snow. It's been a ridiculously busy month, but I think it was worth it. ^_^
Hope the rest of you had a good holiday! (Or if you don't celebrate, at least a good day off from work!)

:: looks about shiftily after having appeared out of nowhere::
Dean: Thanks!
Katsu: Yeah. Happy New Year...
No seriously, sorry for having been away for so long without warning. I see a most everyone else has been missing as well. Well, cheers on a new year, everybody. Hope those of you in school enjoyed your time off and those at work... got some time off. My job gave me x-mas off and the new year's eve, but seeing as how the whole place was closed, I hardly think that counts. That's what you get when you're in retail I suppose. Random hours. No offense to anyone who enjoys retail but it is most definitely not my thing. I need a new job...
But enough about my lot, what's everyone else been up to?
:: looks about the empty place.::
self: It'll pick up. There's a new Supernatural this week after all!

Yaaay, people (or... person?) are slowly returning from their holiday slumbers. I guess we'll get some more action after the new ep tomorrow, which looks amazing. I'm really psyched to see whether this is the moment where Sam snaps and accepts Lucifer...
Unfortunately, doesn't look like I'll be able to see it on time. I'm at a new place right now and don't have my TV set up (even if I did it would have to be out in this common room that tends to be pretty noisy/busy in the evenings) so I'll have to watch it by myself when the CW gets it up or something. Which sucks.
Ah well, hope the rest of you enjoy it.

Um. Sam. No. Really, stop being such a... Sam! This is Supernatural - way more important than your housemates' stupid social time. Throw them out if you have to, or, you know, stare at them creepily until they feel awkward and leave on their own. Be careful with the second one, though; if you're not well practiced in the creepy stare it'll be hard to time it right so they get out before the ep comes on, so you'd better start early.
I'm serious, man. Do what you've gotta do. It's Supernatural.
