There was definitely a figure there. Protocol dictated that she exterminate the threat. But Haynesworth had also said that he would be calling back and her master had ultimate priority. Therefore, if she engaged the intruder and provoked him/her and before she was through with him her master called, she would be forced to answer the phone and that would leave her open. ...But if she didn't take care of this threat now, she might be attacked anyway and the meeting might be disturbed... She hesitated, the slightest of frowns creasing her brow. Her master was priority, but the immediate threat was this intruder. Shoot first, ask questions later. That was best for this case.
"There's an intruder," she informed the others simply, but loud enough to hear. Then she pulled her gun, aimed into the darkness, and pulled the trigger.

Katsu watched the woman as she walked aways a bit and pulled out her phone. As she spoke, another breeze picked up, bringing with it a distinct scent: It was the man from the alley.
He had to be a hunter. Or at least a very insistent law enforcement officer. How could he have found them? How had he even known where to look?
Katsu glanced around, checking to see if anyone else had noticed. 'Of course they haven't noticed, they can't smell him... but should I say anything? They might want me to track him... and if they see it as a show of my worth..........'
Before he could decide, Tasha shut her phone and declared "There's an intruder," and fired her pistol into the brush.
Not sure what else to do, Katsu unsheathed his katana and stood ready...

Evan smiled pleasantly at Katsuro while Tasha moved away to make the phone call. He was even opening his mouth to exchange some pleasantries with the vampire when Tasha made it known they were being watched.
Before he could even react, Tasha fired her gun into the darkness, and (unsurprisingly) Janin was suddenly at his side. He stood with a Sigma handgun at the ready, crossed with a long, dangerous-looking dagger in his other hand. His gaze flicked from the forest where Tasha had fired her shot to Katsuro, apparently wary of treachery.
With a sigh, Evan almost reluctantly drew out a short knife from his sleeve and unbuttoned his suit jacket.
Judging from the expression on Katsuro's face, he had not been expecting this turn of events, but Evan still had to be wary of the vampire; Evan wasn't sure how far he would go to try to attain his goal...
Evan turned his thoughts back to the intruder. Had Tasha dealt with it?
Perhaps Evan could have a little fun if whoever it was was still alive.... The prospect made Evan smile.

Dean barely had time to stiffen before the woman had drawn her weapon and fired. The bullet whizzed right past him and the tree next to him splintered. With practiced efficiency, Dean was suddenly moving in the opposite direction and then zig-zagging through the underbrush.
He couldn't stay and face the four. At least one was a vampire and at least one other had a gun. He had to make a break for it, which he had to admit annoyed him. Dean tried to remember the lay of the land, but seeing as how he had been semi-lost before he'd stumbled upon these nut jobs, it wasn't as clear in his mind as he would have liked. So he just kept running.

OOC: Since no one is responding... BIC:
Katsu looked Evan in the eye.
"That was the man in the alley; the one who encountered Tasha and stopped her from completing her task.
"He must be pretty good to have found us here, but I know he didn't follow me. I was very thorough about checking for tails. How careful were you and your bodyguards?"

She had missed her target. She saw the shadowy figure streak off into the night. He was running away and therefore was not a threat at the moment, but past protocol had prioritized the idea that he could be a threat later.
And so after a moment's contemplation, Tasha took off after the figure. She dodged through the trees with some trouble. Following a target at night wasn't something she did terribly often. She tried to keep her eyes on the person she was following, a man, she could now tell. Short hair, dark coat, tall, but more than that, she had nothing.
She lifted the gun as she followed him through a slightly more open area and fired twice more.

A curse escaped him as more gunshots went off behind him. He didn't feel anything pierce him, luckily enough. There were two people he was especially concerned about following him. Obviously the woman was following. He'd seen her once in a quick glance he'd taken over his shoulder.
The other pursuer he worried about was the vampire. Dean hadn't seen him yet, but if the vampire was following, it was very likely he was screwed unless he could make it to the nearest building and lose him.
Dean suddenly became aware that not too far ahead of him were lights and the sound of mild traffic. Dean dodged another tree and made a bee line for the street. If he could make it there, he was sure he could lose the terminator chick. He just hoped that she'd stop following him before that. The last thing he wanted were for more people to get hurt because of him. An image of his father flashed briefly across his mind, but he purposefully ignored it.
Getting out alive was the first order of business.

Evan raised an eyebrow at the vampire.
"No one could have followed my contingent," he said simply.
The fact that someone was perhaps listening in on them was an interesting turn of events, but Evan was here for business, not amusement. He turned to Janin.
"See if Natasha is in need of aid. I have business to conclude with Mr. Katsuro." Janin gave him a look, as if to question leaving him alone with a vampire, but Evan made a shooing motion with his hands, and Janin took off after Tasha.
With Tasha busy, Evan could take control of the situation.
"Now, my dear man, I believe we were discussing the conditions of our... agreement. I believe wholeheartedly that I will be able to fulfill your desire, to be rid of your need to drink blood." He added a burst of Charisma, adding to the excitement of his proclamation, and trust that Evan was not lying.
"In respect to what you would need to do for us... We do not need footsoldiers, even if your position lendsyou some interesting abilities. For now, I believe it would be useful if you could compile a list of the governments you have contacts and informants you could help me get close to.
"In the future, I may need you to provide other information, but for now,I believe this will be enough."

The sounds of the street were right ahead now. He just might make it!
That was his thought anyway right before he tore through a thorny bush and crashed right into a ten foot tall chain link fence topped off with old rusted barbed wire. For a moment Dean just stared at it, stunned. This had not been there on the way in! He must have really lost his way. And if that was the case, where the hell was he?
The other side of the fence afforded a view of a deserted back street and a long line of three story brick buildings. The traffic he heard must've been coming from the other side of them. And that's where he had to get then if he had a chance of eluding that British terminator woman.
With another quick glance over his shoulder, Dean ripped off his coat and swung it high over the barbed wire. Then, making sure he was free of the thorns, he jumped at the fence and began to climb.

The businessman seemed eager to conclude business, most likely because they had seemingly been discovered. Though oddly enough, Katsu sensed a little too much... enjoyment? Was this man really having fun now that the meeting was uncovered? Or was Katsu reading too much into that small grin...?
I believe wholeheartedly that I will be able to fulfill your desire, to be rid of your need to drink blood.
Katsu felt a thrill of excitement--could he possibly do it? It was almost too much to hope for... He almost overlooked the fact that the man had said "I" could help him, not "we" ... Was he implying something? Or was it just a slip of the tongue?
There were too many questions, yet for some reason, Katsu felt as though he could trust the man to his word... he simply seemed... honest.
So, Katsu pushed his misgivings out of his mind.
"I would be glad to. Where should I send the list?" Despite the fact that the man seemed trustworthy, Katsu could not restrain caution, "And how do I know you won't hang me out to dry once I give you the names?"

Tasha charged after the man losing him a moment in the darkness, but quickly recovering as she heard the sound of leaves crunching and branches cracking in the man's wake. Breathing heavily, she slowed down as she spotted dark shadow of the man through some thorny brush. She lifted her weapon once again and fired. She knew her shot was wide even as she fired, but the point had been more to make the man hesitate so she could get better aim and shoot a killing or at least crippling shot next time.
She began to readjust, when her phone rang. That would be her master. Her priority changed and, much like a computer told to turn off one program and begin another, Tasha lowered her weapon, slid it back into it's hiding place and lifted the phone to her ear.
"Hello," she greeted monotonously as she watched her former target escape.

"And how do I know you won't hang me out to dry once I give you the names?"
This vampire seemed very cautious. Despite his gentle use of his Charisma abilities, Evan still could not make the vampire trust him completely.
"A very reasonable question. However, I must be blunt. We have little we wish to you in assurances, and in your situation, you can either trust us or not. That is not our problem."
Evan dropped his Charisma, allowing the vampire to feel any frustration that statement may have caused.
"I can, however, say that our organization never lets valuable sources of intelligence go to waste. Take from that what you will."
Evan glanced nonchalantly in the direction Tasha and Janin went. 'I wonder if they caught the trespasser...'

The voice of her master greeted her.
"Natasha, we have done a brief background check on Katsuro Saigo. We believe that it would be to our benefit to have him as an ally. Tell Hallowed to tell the vampire -I mean... Tell Hallowed to tell Mr. Saigo that we accept his offer and we wish to assist him. Let Hallowed make preparations."
Tasha listened silently, eyes still on the escaping trespasser.
"Well? Is that understood, Natasha?" her master asked impatiently.
"Yes, sir," she replied. "I'll tell him."
"Good, good," her master replied, the greed clear even to Tasha.

Dean dropped off the fence, landing poorly after misjudging where a hole on the other side began and ended in the darkness. He hissed in pain, but noted immediately that he was still in tact.
The gun shots ceased and Dean spared a very brief glance over his shoulder to see what was going on behind him. He barely made out the figure of the terminator chick through the pricker bushes, but he couldn't tell why she'd stopped and he didn't wait to find out. He turned and ran off towards the street as fast as his legs could carry him.
This night was just not going his way...

"A very reasonable question. However, I must be blunt. We have little we wish to you in assurances, and in your situation, you can either trust us or not. That is not our problem."
Katsu narrowed his eyes in irritation, but what was he really expecting? It was his problem the cult would be fixing, not the other way around. He needed them more than they needed him... yet.
"I can, however, say that our organization never lets valuable sources of intelligence go to waste. Take from that what you will."
And Katsu was indeed a valuable source of intelligence. Being as old as he was had its advantages...
"All right, Mr. Hallowed, I shall put together a list as you request. Where shall I send it to?"
Katsu was going to be this "Organization's" most valuable source of intelligence he could manage... at least... as long as they seemed to be giving him what he wanted.

OOC: Sorry, Katsu, that I never replied! BIC:
"All right, Mr. Hallowed, I shall put together a list as you request. Where shall I send it to?"
"I have an untracable phone line that Janin takes care of for me."
::pulls out a business card and pen from his jacket, and writes the number on the back::
"You will not leave any messages. Simply dial the number, wait for it to connect, then hit 7 and hang up. Janin or I will then call you back and you will be able to speak candidly for two minutes and thirteen seconds. After that time has elapsed, the line can possibly be compromised and we will hang up. Do you understand?"
Evan was looking forward to seeing what this vampire could do for him. He had never had the opportunity to manipulate a vampire before. Puppets were one thing, but they were generally mindless, and have no real goals, no motives of their own that can throw an interesting turn to events. A vampire... could be very interesting...
