Sam's Log ProfileDrowning Your SorrowsAfter Dad died, Dean and I both fell into kind of a rut. He holed himself up in the junkyard working on his car, and I... well, I decided to forget my problems in a different way. While I was drowning my sorrows in a local bar, I ran into someone a little unusual. Too bad I was too out of it to notice. One Step CloserA perfectly normal morning at Bobby's junk yard... or so it seemed at first, anyway. When a customer showed up with a busted up car, I started to suspect that he might be a Hunter, or at least have a connection to us. Too bad he disappeared before I had a chance to get a clear answer... No HavenWe made it to Haven Valley, on the trail of a creature that's managed to snatch up 23 people in the course of two nights. We had no idea what we were looking for, so really nothing should have surprised us. But even when you've seen as much as we have, there was no way we could have anticipated this... --- The thing I'm starting to realize about Hunting is that no matter how hard you try to escape it, once you're in it you never really get out again. Back in 2004, while I was still away at college, I caught word of a case that sounded too much like a child possession for me to ignore. I disguised myself as a priest and went to visit the family, hoping for a quick and easy exorcism before heading back to my normal life. "Easy exorcism..." Yeah. Right.
