I like Alien! It was a little slow though. And the Alien movies don't have a lot of background music which can be both boring and eerie.
Terminator was definitely better. But Terminator 2 is better still!

I'm not sure which one I liked better. The second one had the cool liquidy Terminator, but the first one was classic, and it had Kyle Reese. Oh, poor Kyle Reese... (Wait, should I say that? Has anybody not seen it?)
Finale tonight, folks! I think that warrants a drink all around.

Yay for drinks! Eve: True, true. Kyle Reese was a cool character. Buuuut Judgment Day had the shape shifting terminator! That was just neat. :: Pours a tray of drinks for anyone that wants and takes one for himself and passes another to Eve::

Hey, everyone. Sorry for the long absence. I've been very busy with work and have been having internet issues on top of that. :/ Hopefully the latter at least will remain repaired.
Dean and Eve: Terminator, huh? I really liked the first two, but the third one was quite a disappointment. ...The most recent one was all right though.

Poor Kasen - you've really got to figure out how to fix that glitchy issue once and for all.
Guys, what are we going to do all summer without SPN? Does anyone have suggestions for some nice summer shows to occupy us?

Hey, Eve. Hm, shows to occupy us...
Well, I'm a fan of 24, so if you haven't seen that, I'd recommend catching up on that! Burn Notice is starting up with new episodes too. Yay. Those are my suggestions of the moment.

Hi everybody!! Eve: Tv shows?? Well I've got to recommend Doctor Who! Great show! Not so much this season unfortunately. They recently had a turnover in management and it just hasn't been the same. It reminds me of what's happening to Supernatural next season actually and it makes me a little nervous. They too had people take over who had been working on the show since the beginning and you think that they should therefore know stuff about the show... Yeah, makes me nervous. BUT!! I'd watch all the episodes from 2005-2009. Great stuff!

Tasha: Well, that fills me with confidence for the next season! That sounds awful! Hopefully the Supernatural staff won't let us down. As for Doctor Who, I've heard good things about it. And I've seen some of it, I'm sure, including clips for your character while making Path promo videos. I might have to look into it more. I saw the end of 24 (finally) the other night. It was the last episode of the series! It was very good. Quite dramatic. Or traumatic maybe.

Kase: I never saw much of 24, but I've heard good things. Glad it was good. Do you need to see previous seasons to understand the later season? As for Doctor Who I KNOW! I am quite upset. I really hope Kripke did a better job with his "apprentices".

Tash: Nooooo, Tasha why did you say that?? Dude, now I actually am worried. I wasn't really before, I was cool with it all because the people taking over were people who've worked on it before. Hmmmmm. But Kripke's still gonna be around, right? He can keep the newbies in line if he is.

::Doors swing open, and a weary and bedraggled traveler comes stumbling in, toward the bar:: Guys, I think I have to take a moment to say: Thank you all for being such good writers, but more than that, for being such lovely and considerate people. (Yes, even you, Chase. ) I just recently joined another message board, and there is just so much drama going on in it. People argue and snipe, people simply don't understand how to keep their characters in character... and that's even counting the one moderator who got into a huff and randomly deleted a lot of other people's threads as "revenge" before leaving the site altogether. It's just so exhausting to deal with... So anyway, cheers to you all and your general lack of drama. And now, back on topic. Interesting TV choices... I've heard of all those shows, but can't say I've ever seen that much of them. "Burn Notice" is supposed to be, like, the most popular show on cable TV, right? And I saw David Tennant (who's Doctor Who, right?) in this performance of Hamlet recently - he was really good! Yay, I have things to check out now.

Eve: Aw, poor Eve. Yay to us I guess! :: Brings out a round of drinks:: What's there to be all drama...tical? "Drama-tized"? ... What do people have to be full of drama over on a message board? Isn't it supposed to be a place to get together over something you like?
Burn Notice is that spy show, right? I've seen some of that. I rather liked it! I never know when it's on though so I kind of forget about it. I like how the main guy sort of tells you how he makes these crazy spy things of his for his little missions.
You know what was surprisingly a good movie? The Prince of Persia. It wasn't quite (at all) like the game, yet it was still pretty good. Whoot! Anybody see that?

Eve: That stinks about the other message board. What kind of board is it? Is it for anything we'd know? Oh, I saw that Hamlet with David Tennant. Yeah, he was the Doctor. I really liked that version of Hamlet. It was all done very well. Dean: I guess people on message boards could argue over aspects of a show they like or what they think a character stands for and things like that. As for the Doctor Who and Kripke thing, I do believe Kripke is staying on in some fashion. In Doctor Who's case the former executive producer/writer did not stay on, but he was getting pretty bad by the end, and some of the former writers who are still writing used to be good but now have suddenly lost their abilities to form coherent, intelligent stories with likeable characters. I have more hope for Supernatural. :: Takes a drink:: Dean: I hope!

Tash: That's true. Well, good about Kripke. Hopefully he and his cohorts in the writing department don't lose their abilities. Lol, that sounds like they've got super powers or something.

Aw, thanks Eve! ...I think. I've seen a few message boards like that. Trolls seem to like wandering in and insulting everything from the show's concepts to the actors' faces in order to start some drama. I'm really glad we haven't seen one of those here.
Tash - that does suck. Are you sure it's the same writers getting worse, and not just a whole new writing staff?

The other message board is for Merlin. It's this BBC show that's sort of reinvented the Merlin/Arthurian legend stuff and is doing a sort of Smallville style, "when they were young" origin story. But yeah, people argue a lot about who their favorite character/couple/episode/actor is which ends up fraying a lot of nerves pretty quickly. I think we circumvent that very nicely by not starting threads like "Who's better, Sam or Dean?" And just by being pretty mature in general. And also, since the site isn't primarily an RPing site, they don't censor who joins in on the stories very well... which leaves us with a bunch of sparkly Mary-Sues and eleven-year-olds who don't know how to write running rampant. ::Sigh:: But besides that it's a lovely site. Dean: No, I haven't seen the Prince of Persia movie... mainly because I really liked that game and the movie looked nothing like it. Maybe I'll check it out when it comes out on DVD, though.

That sucks, Eve. People shouldn't stress so much. I don't care if we have different favorite characters. We all like the same show, right? ...Though I guess if someone charged in saying that the one good thing the show ever did was Bela, I might get a little upset. I've got faith in the next season. I think they ended this one well enough to keep some interesting twists going.

Random note - I just watched all the little videos in the sidebar, and they made me excited for our plot all over again. I'm actually pretty fond of that little video player right now.

Eve: Yeah the PoP movie wasn't much like the game, but there was enough in there for those who've played the game to be like "Oh, I get it!" and it still made sense to those who haven't seen it, which is always nice. Chase: I hope so! Sam: Yay! Oh and a Happy Birthday shout out to Alonna! :: brings out some ice cream::

Oh happy birthday, Alonna! Hope it's a good one.
Eve: Yeah, that's too bad about the drama on the other site. Well, hopefully it'll clear up!
Dean: Yeah, that's the spy show. I like that about it too. I've missed the last couple weeks though. I got used to watching them online, so I don't even think about it know! But it's in Supernatural's time slot, so you'd think it'd be easy to remember.
