Oh yay! Kase: Happy Birthday, Kasen! How was your day? Jonas: You too! ;p Sure, guys. We'll have two cakes. I don't think one cake would be enough for everybody anyway. :: Gets to work on a super fast pair of cakes. One a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and one a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting:: Eve: I found a picture of the Roadhouse on Google for you. You can't really tell if it's a nob or handle from there though. Click The Roadhouse

Thanks everyone, here and on the c-box, from me and Jonas. ;p
I had a pretty nice birthday. Went out with a friend earlier in the day apple picking with a friend. Then my sister made me a crazy yet delicious cake. Then I had a lovely dinner of Chinese with the family before we had a nice fire in my mom's outdoor chimney. Then to finish off the day there was cake, Guitar Hero, and a movie. A nice day if I do say so myself.
:: Inhales deeply the smell of the baking cakes::
Tash: Mmm. Smells good!
Sam and Eve: And thanks for the gifts of wallpapers and responses!

Kasen: That sounds like a good birthday. Not too boring or too hectic. :: Tasha finishes up putting the icing on the cakes and puts them on the bar in front of Kasen:: Kase: Here you go!

Cool, I get treats.
::Swipes a thin piece of each cake. Then, taking note of Eve's stern expression, rolls his eyes and hands the plate over to Jonas.::
There. Happy birthday... or whatever.
::Then cuts himself two larger pieces and munches them pointedly.::
Kasen: A crazy cake? What was that like?

Evan: Well, I have two lovely 7-10 page papers, one's a research paper for physics and for the other, I have to make an argument to express which of the ancient civilizations was the "best" in my opinion..... blegh. And then there's a crazy art design midterm that I have to incorporate everything I've learned so far... *cries* I probably shouldn't even be talking on here....... ;P Kase/Jonas: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Sorry I never got in here to give a proper birthday greeting, but I've been a bit swamped... ^_^ Tash: You are amazing!!! ::cuts himself a small slice of each cake and munches on a bite of each:: Tasty!! ^_^ Kase: Sounds like you had a good day!

Ack, I'm late! Kasen: Happy belated birthday, dude! Sounds like a nice birthday. Yeah, I'm curious about this cake too. Guitar Hero. Sweet. I can play that for ages. ...Not as long as a cousin of mine though. He can play the same thing on that for ages and not get bored. He's also 7 and has a one track mind... Katsu: Well that sounds riveting! Did you get it all done?

:: munches on cake::
Tash: Mm, thanks! Tastes great. ^_^
Chase: Ha! Weird. I was flipping channels and landed on House and there was 'your' face. Chase Anders, a Faith Healer! Ha! It is funny. And kinda creepy. ;p
Chase and Katsu: Oh. And back to the cake question. My sister made me a cake and I guess for some reason the cake itself was very crumbly. So when she went to put on the icing, it began to fall apart. So she decided to put a theme to the cake, inspired by something that was on the sci-fi (sy-fy?) channel called Megafault or something. The cake was the Earth and -as in the movie (I think)- the world was splitting apart as if by an earthquake. There was blue icing around the sides and the in the middle, where the cake pretty much cracked in half, she put red sprinkles like lava exploding out.
It was delicious!
Dean: Heheh, that sounds like an amusing little cousin. Though perhaps not the best person to play Guitar Hero with. ;p

Kasen: Yeah, he gets a tad boring after a while if you leave him to himself. But since I've got a decade plus on him, I can usually get him to see things my way. Buahaha... hem.
Sam and Jonas: Supernatural's new this week! Hopefully it's not as disconnected as it seemed. I'm ready to get back to the plot!

Hey guys! Happy almost Halloween! I've set up a ghost hunt if anyone's interested. ^_^
Katsu and Dean: I wasn't overly impressed with last night's episode. It was alright, and there were some good moments. Especially towards the end.
So is anyone doing anything interesting for Halloween?

Kasen: Oooh! A ghost hunt! I'm glad that finally happened. I'll have to go off and do that. After I finish this pumpkin pie and other holiday goodies! :: Gets back to making Halloween treats:: I don't know what I'm doing this Halloween! It's harder to find exciting things once you're "too old" to go trick or treating. Parties just aren't the same!

:: Stops in for a moment, sawed off shotgun filled with salt shells swung over his shoulder::
All: HAPPY belated HALLOWEEN!!
I'd love to stay and chat but I'm off hunting...
:: slows when the smell of something cooking reaches his nose. He edges into the Roadhouse a bit further::
...ghosts...
:: He looks towards the kitchen::
Tash: Pumpkin pie??
:: Glances back outside, then back to Tash, then back outside::
Tash: Ok, save me a nice big slice! I've got ghosts to hunt!
:: Dashes out!::

::Swings in from a long day of ghost hunting, shovel slung over his shoulder and dirt smudging his face::
There are some wacky ghosts scattered around here, let me tell you. Don't think I've seen such a concentration since the Asylum.
Eh... Halloween? You guys know how I feel about Halloween. I wouldn't mind some of that pie, though.
::Looks hopefully toward the kitchen::
Slipping out of character for a minute, though, my Halloween was actually pretty cool. While I do miss the thrill of trick-or-treating, I checked out a cool haunted house in the area with a few friends and then headed back home for a short horror-movie fest. I finally checked out Jensen Ackles' "My Bloody Valentine" and I've gotta say, I wasn't too impressed. I'm not much into random excess of gore in movies, and that had tons of it. But Jensen was great, and his character was pretty cool despite the ridiculous overarching plot.
Oh, and I've gotta add - at the haunted house, there were clowns. Lots of clowns. And if I agree with my character on anything, it's that those giant-shoed, neon-haired and pasty faced giggly psychos are just a lot more creepy than they are fun... ::shivers::

:: Snags some treats::
Tasha: Delicious teats! Can't have a proper Halloween without those!
Sam: Cool, haunted house! Clowns are indeed quite creepy. Especially in haunted houses. I tried a few haunted ... haunts this Halloween myself. I went to a not so haunted forest and a haunted house. The forest was supposedly based off an urban legend about dead escaped psych ward patients. But it was rather lame. Very short, only a few people jumping out at you, and they weren't even that scary. But the haunted house was much better!
I've seen My Bloody Valentine. It's ok for a gory slasher movie. I agree, Jensen and his character were both good (yeah... 'cause they're different people....). The plot definitely could have been done better if they'd wanted.

Happy really-belated Halloween! ^_- I'm so out of it... what with the homework I've been getting, I haven't had time to even think about coming on here!! >.< Frustration!!! And I missed the ghost hunt too! >.< Sam: Congrats!! ^_^ Tasha: Treatses?? *slices himself some pumpkin pie* I love this stuff! Beautiful work Tash! Sam: Uh-oh... not clowns!! In a haunted house?! That's totally freaky, man!! >.< I went to a haunted house too, and it wasn't that scary, but it was still really fun! Especially because my roommate was totally freaking out. I also watched the movie "Orphan." ...it was really good!! So CREEPY!! Why are little girls so creepy??! >.<

Katsu - I've been considering checking out that movie, but I'm generally disappointed by horror movies these days. Tons of gore and absolutely no thought-provoking horror. But maybe I'll check this one out. Too bad you couldn't make the ghost hunt, though. It was fun! Maybe we'll have a present hunt for the holiday season that'll stay up longer!
Sam - Too bad about Jensen's film. I really want those boys to do well but they keep picking silly movies. Did you hear that Jared's rumored to be starring in a second Friday the 13th? Maybe it's not true. I really hope it's not...

Katsu: Heheh, it's true. Little girls are creepy!
I'd like to see that movie too. And now I've got a good review, so I've got even more reason. ;p
Evan: Hey, Happy Birthday! To you and your character. I admit I'm not sure whether it's your real birthday or not, which is sad since we probably went through this last year (our site is over a year old guys!) and I'm too lazy to go look it up right now. I'm exhausted and must get some sleep.
Farewell, for now, all!

Yeah Katsu, homework can really beat your free time right out of you. I've had a really light workload this semester for whatever reason, but I remember last year that work + trying to have a social life really = way less time for online stuff.
Of course, I think back then I was probably still posting more than I am now, haha.
Eve: Really? Geh, the first one was so lame. I mean, Jared was cool, and I think I liked his character's sister, but that was basically it. It definitely didn't deserve a sequel...
Mod PS: I'm really happy with my new Hunt banner. Very cool.
