:: Lifts an eyebrow at Dean::
Dean: Are you sure you're not going too over the top with this?
:: accepts one of the blow out things (after looking up what it is on google and realizing it was one of those party things he's used at many a childhood party)::
I didn't know that's what they were called. The things you learn.
:: Blows!::
Anybody see any good fireworks? They do some by my house so I sat outside and watched. They were pretty good. Amateur, but fun.

Happy 4th, all! (Yep, even to any of you foreigner types who might be reading this. Just 'cause it's not your independence day, doesn't mean you can't still enjoy it. ) Dean: LOL, that's an amazing image to associate with Dean now - with a red, white, and blue Abe Lincoln hat and a noise maker. ^_^ I went to a relative's house for a barbecue and saw some cool fireworks. It was pretty awesome, I've got to say.

Sorry, I had to stick that in really quickly before it became the 5th of July. ^_^
::toots the kazoo he recieved from Dean::
Very nice choice of music, by the way, whoever put Trumpet Voluntary in there. I've played that lovely piece in band once or twice! ^_^
I hope everybody enjoyed their fireworks and celebratory-ness. ^_^ My fireworks were awesome, by the way, and I think i had too much sugar........... O.O

Katsu: Haha, we might have noticed. ;p I'm glad you had a good Independance Day! I saw some good fireworks myself.
All: We have way too much food at home, feel free to help yourselves.
::doles out platters of hot dogs, veggie burgers, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken legs, grilled chicken, pasta salad, corn on the cob, baked beans, baked potatoes, salad with four different dressings, bowls of tortilla chips and salsa, potato chips, veggie sticks, fruit salad, etc.::
All: And I haven't even gotten to the leftover desserts. ^_-
(Janin: thanks for carrying that all in)

Hi everybody! Hope you all had a good Independence Day! Dean: Thanks! :: takes a kazoo as well and blows cheerfully, even if she is a few days late:: all: It sounds like everyone had a good time. I saw fireworks at my uncle's house. Good stuff! Evan: Thanks for the food! Katsu: Mayyyyybe you shouldn't have any of this, hm? You've had too much sugar already!

Eve: Lol, good, Eve. That was my dastardly plan. I had fun on the Fourth. Fireworks, pools, tennis, hot dogs, chasing live dogs, etc etc. Good times. Except for the mosquitoes... They ruin everything. Tash: Can I get an iced tea, pleaaase? Evan: Sweet! Food! Thanks, man! ...It's not laced with Puppet-maker stuff, is it? :: Looks questioningly from Evan to the silent body guard::

"It's not laced with Puppet-maker stuff is it?"
:: Tasha looks down to the hotdog in her hand, shrugs and eats it anyway. ::
Doesn't affect me any!
:: Pats Kasen on the back::
Kase: There, there.

Eve: Hi! Um, things. You know. Swimming, biking, catching up on my reading. What about you?

Thanks guys.
Eve: Hm, something interesting... Well, my dad recently bought a kayak a couple weeks back and I've gone out on the river a couple times with him. It's a one seater though, so we've been taking turns. It's a lot of fun. Good scenery, good exercise, and just a tad inspiring. I'm thinking about getting one now. Apparently there's a sale somewhere, so I'll be checking that out. What about you?
Dean: What are you reading? Anything good?

Kase - that sounds fun! I've never been kayaking, but I've been white water rafting and it is really nice to just float down a river and watch nature drift by you. I really haven't been up to much - less than I'd like to be, actually. Whenever I feel like going out and doing anything, it starts to rain, and whenever I feel like going to a movie or playing pool or anything out but indoorsy, I remember that I'm basically broke, lol. So I've really just been hanging around the house. Wow, this site's getting quiet again, huh? I guess everyone's off on mid-summer adventures.

Yeah, sorry about that. I had to go to my college orientation. Loads of fun that it was... ;P

Eve: It's tons of fun! Kayaking that is. I did end up getting one. I've only taken it out once so far, but it was cool. Of course we got there when the tide was going out -despite what the charts said- so there were some spots we were getting stuck. Lots of fun though. It's like a whole different world from the suburbia I live in.
Katsu: How was your orientation? Didn't bite anybody I hope. ;p

Kase: Kayaking? Cool, though I prefer canoes. They give a more peaceful ride.
Katsu: Oh, nice, how did that go?

Eve: I know how you feel. I'm quite broke myself. Kase: I was reading this book called Brisinger. It was all right, not my favorite of the series, but all right. Now I'm moving onto either Silence of the Lambs or the Pirate King. Anybody have any suggestions? Evan and Kasen: Kayaks vs canoes? Hm. I haven't done a lot of either. Both are fun though. Canoes make me think of calmer water generally and kayaking makes me think rougher waters. Either way sounds like fun.

Eve: Ah, money... twas a happier time when I had some. ^_-
Kase: Kayaking? Awesome, man! I gotta say I've never done it, but it sounds cool! Though I'm sure it's nothing in comparison to my white-water rafting trip I took a few years ago. ^_^
Yeah, orientation went great! I got to choose my classes and everything... ended up with an awesome 2D design class plus Karate! Sweet! ^_^

Man, it has been quiet here lately! Sorry for my absence. I've been running about elsewhere on and off.
Happy August everybody! I can't believe the summer has gone by so quickly!
Did anybody here make it to Comic Con in San Diego? Unfortunately I didn't get to (that's quite a drive or flight for me), but it sounded like it was pretty awesome. Everybody was there!
Well, not everybody. Sam and Dean didn't make it, but Misha Collins, Jim Beaver, and I think some others from Supernatural made it.
I think there were some Doctor Who people there- Tash, I thought you might like that. Then, there were people and sections for shows like Stargate and Full Metal Alchemist. Then there were things for whole channels like Fox and the WB. I would have liked to go! That would've been fun.
